The Hyundai Veracruz for 2011 has not seen many changes since the 2011 model. This SUV offers good value for money and is especially endearing to families with storage needs. The experience in the cabin, whether stationary or in motion has greatly improved.
For example, the 2011 model does not provide the optional DVD entertainment system at the rear seats. This was the “Premium Package” but the options package is not offered any more. However, the overall value has still been maintained.

Buyers may choose between either all-wheel drive or two-wheel drive. Under the hood is a 3.8-liter V6 engine that delivers 260 hp and 257 lb-ft of torque. From a stop to 60 mph, the Hyundai Veracruz hustles in 8.3 seconds. The transmission is an automatic six-speed. For front-wheel drive versions, the fuel efficiency rating according to the EPA is 17 miles to the gallon in the city and 22 miles to the gallon on the highway. The AWD versions have a rating of 16 miles to the gallon in the city and 21 miles to the gallon on the highway.
There are airbags for the side and front of the front seats while at the rear is an airbag at the side curtain . Traction and stability control aid in the prevention of accidents and the same applies to the antilock disc brakes that come as a standard. When subjected to crash tests, the Hyundai Veracruz obtained a rating of five stars which is the maximum attainable score in this category.
The interior has quality materials which are well thought out and placed. A limitation however, has to do with the third row of seats which is not as roomy as that of other SUVs in this class. Maximum capacity in the Veracruz is 87 cubic feet which arguably satisfies the needs of today’s owners.
Even with the recession, Hyundai’s market share continues to rise. Buyers go for value and that’s just what Hyundai offers. The Hyundai Veracruz for 2011 is an upscale crossover being offered at an economical price. This model is fully packed for 2011 and one may be forgiven to imagine that it may be an entry level. This crossover displays composure in most instances and the tough 3.8-liter 260 hp V6 is up to the challenge. It has low road and wind noise levels and has a very serene cabin. Although the exterior is somewhat generic in styling, the interior is magnificently upscale. With wood trim and a two-tone color plan, buyers are definitely drawn and hooked at a glance!
