2011 Nissan Rogue Review

The Nissan Rogue 2011 has a sporty appearance and bears a resemblance to the Nissan Murano. Reviewers say that it is a smooth ride with comfortable front seats and a cabin designed with high quality material but the makes a lot of noise from the continuous variable transmission.
The five-passenger Nissan Rogue 2011 SUV is available in front-wheel drive or the all-wheel drive. Available trims include the S, S Krom and the SV trim levels. Standard features in the base model include keyless ignition, cruise control, sixteen-inch steel wheels, tilt steering wheel, rear privacy glass, trip computer, full power accessories, iPod interface, auxiliary jack, and 4-speaker CD audio system
The S Krom adds some features to the S version. These include audio controls on the steering wheel, front fascia and diverse grille, eighteen-inch alloy wheels, and a center-mounted sport exhaust. The SV model steps up with roof rails, seventeen-inch alloy wheels, upgraded upholstery, keyless ignition, front fold-down passenger seat, 6-way power adjustable driver seat, rearview monitor, 6-speaker color display sound system, -mounted controls on the steering column, satellite radio and Bluetooth connectivity.
Available optional packages for the SV trim include the Premium package and the SL package. The premium package comes with a real-time traffic navigation system, sunroof, automatic headlights and automatic climate control. Features in the SL package include heated front seats, eighteen-inch alloy wheels, foglights, xenon headlights, leather upholstery, heated side mirrors, premium Bose subwoofer sound system and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The Nissan Rogue 2011 comes fitted with a 170 horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 175 lb-ft of torque. This is paired to a CVT (continuously variable transmission).
EPA fuel efficiency for the Rogue 2011 is estimated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway for the two-wheel drive. The all-wheel has a lower fuel efficiency of 22 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway.
The Rogue interior has a classy interior with the cabin designed from high quality materials that make it to fetch a higher price in the market. The comfortable seats suit four rather than five passengers.
Cargo space is estimated at 28.9 cubic feet with all seats in use. With the second-row seats folded down, cargo space increases to 57.9 cubic feet. Despite this being an average for its class, the Rogue boasts one of the advanced pop-up cargo systems.
Standard safety features in the Rogue 2011 include stability control, traction control, dual-stage airbags, side curtain airbags, front head restraints, electronic brake force distribution and antilock disc brakes. An optional safety feature is the rearview monitor.
The Rogue 2011 has not yet undergone the strenuous government crash test. The 2010 version was awarded four out of five stars for driver protection and passenger protection. For the frontal and side impact test it received five stars. It was awarded four stars for the rollover test.
The average price for the Nissan Rogue 2011 may range between $20,968 and $25,110. Nissan gives the Rogue 2011 a three-year basic warranty and a five-year powertrain warranty.
