2011 Cadillac Escalade ESV Reviews

By Zaheer on Jun 08, 2011 with Comments 0

Cadillac Escalade have already set up a good name in the SUV class. With great pedigree and American styling, the 2011 Cadillac Escalade ESV has lived up to its name. It is a great SUV with a powerful and refined engine and is relatively better than the Suburban LTZ. It packs a great ride and though more expensive than the Suburban it is impressive in its interior styling and niceties.  The highlights of this SUV’s interior are Sat Nav, Music CD/DVD system (a charmer if you have children); air heated and cooled seats, folding mirrors, auto tailgate. For the blingy enthusiasts, attractions to this SUV are chrome clad grille, the Chrome wheels, and the available alternative of jet-black finish whose contrast with the chrome is great for the eyes. Campers will love its off-road abilities and the roof rack. Many agree that this is American luxury at affordable pricing and even better standards

The 2011 Escalade is built on a solid framework which Cadillac has put together well.  Like other competitors in this field, it has a unit body which means that on the streets it handles like a car rather than a truck-based SUV.  Its handling is great for a vehicle of its curb weight. Its breaks are also impressive

Popping up the hood, car partisans will have found something to smile about. With the V8 engine has massive Break Horsepower and good fuel economy values. For city driving, the fuel consumption averages around 9.7 MPG while for Highway driving it is about 15 MPG which is pretty decent for this size of an SUV. What’s more is the Navigation shows how fuel levels are doing and how to improve fuel economy. It has well tune suspension and good breaking power on bothdry and wet pavement. Tests have shown that it has five-star Score values for both frontal and side crashworthiness. Test drivers have recommended this SUV for those long road trips and excursions.

The interior packs quite a punch with lots of eye-catching gadgetry and is plusher than the Yukon and Suburban. Everything comes to life with the keyless ignition. The 6 CD/ DVD entertainment is a charmer with satellite TV hook-up.  This SUV has cruise and powered mirrors, powered first and second row seats with pedals. There is an alternative of a wood grain trimmed dashboard and a beige leather shift knob. With Satellite Navigation which shows up to date traffic and helps in fuel consumption optimization. The dashboard instruments are easy to access and easy to read.

Many window-shoppers or buyers who took on buying the 2011 Cadillac Escalade ESV agree that it is expensive. However, others argue that it is well worth the price. The average price that buyers had to spend for this SUV ranges between $61,362 and $84,695. (Buyers should get local prices for their area before making up their minds). The price is bound to go if up any preferential features have been added to the standard model.
