Now the Suzuki is going to launch one of their very new and most loved cars – the Swift; the new Swift has already been hitting the American and European markets which there the Swifts’ have been doing really great with their sales of the Swifts throughout Europe. However it is the Indian market which there were a lot of early sales and pre-bookings for this car because this is one of the best loved cars actually in India that has got a lot of people taking about it. That is why Suzuki wants to launch their new Swift onto the Indian market hopefully before the end of this year.
Suzuki had expected this to be out and onto the market in India by mid 2011 so there might just be a little longer wait for that to happen but rumours are that it is going to be any day soon. So it is surely going to be doing great by the end of its first month on sale on the Indian market; many people are expecting great things with this and Suzuki themselves believe that the car is going to be a force on the market.
With this new Maruti Suzuki Swift being longer and wider than the one that is already currently on the market, it is expected that the car will still sell at a very good rate in deed as they know the first was a huge success and they really do expect the Swift 2011 is really going to reach that height also. It is not exactly known if the Suzuki Swift will be priced at thirty thousand or more, there has not been any official word over this by there are expected prices and rumours already being said but until the actual figures come out, no-one is going to mention them here.
The Swift is actually taking some of their designs by one other model of Suzuki’s that is expected on the market in India later this year also – the Suzuki Kizashi is the one car that most of the characteristics of the new Swift will be based on. However since the Swift is longer in size, people would expect this to be greater than before but it does not actually go over four metres in length for the actual vehicle so there is nothing to worry about over the size of the car. It is not going to exceed over four metres so perfectly good for anyone looking for a new Swift.
This Swift is also going to have a little combination over their motor and engine with the Swift having a 1.3 litre diesel motor and a 1.2 litre petrol engine – which is quite the combination but it really is set to be one of the best on the market today. It is even expected to have a massive seventy five BHP also.
The previous models of the Maruti Suzuki Swift were a big hit on the Indian market and it is that which is really going to bring in the customers a lot more. They have seen what the previous Suzuki models have been like and with the great hype over the Swift, it will bring in the buyers. In India it is actually been expected to be around the month of August that brings the new launch of the Swift.
Honestly the new Swift is not actually going to be that different when it comes to how the car will look from many of the predecessors of the Suzuki models. The tail lamps and head lamps are going to have a great edgy and sharp look to the car; the actual visual changes of the car however is not going to seem as though they are actually a lot different. However there are changes even if they are few but there is still that cheeky style; the styles are great though but there is not going to any more sloping roofs, from most of the previous models there are not going to have a slope anymore which is going to make sure that there is a lot more room in the back for the passengers.
The interior is going to have a much classier look to the finish work but there will be a BMW feel to the steering wheel which is a little thicker. It looks a lot more European but sporty and makes the car look a lot more expensive which is what many people want.
The choice over two engines from a diesel engine of 1.3 litre DDiS and 1.2 litre Dual VVT petrol engine; the petrol engine can reach almost ninety three BHP and with diesel, seventy five BHP. There will however be an automatic transmission of four speed but that is only going to be available from the petrol engine.
There is still a possibility that the next generation Swift could have a 1.2 litre K series engine that reaches around eighty four BHP; the Maruti Suzuki Swift may cost a lot more in price.
