Horsepower Heavyweight – the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392

Dodge challenger SRT8 392 was presented in November 2010, The second most massive muscle creation right after the one which was built back in 1492. The new 2011 version has more modification that makes it even better. Few impressive features of this car would be decent handling, high performance braking and straight-line acceleration and also the most important one is its New 392 HEMI V8 Engine for which the car got its certain Fancy names such as Horsepower heavyweight, Massive muscle creation etc.
Most of the features introduced in this car is to mainly increase the fuel efficiency, safety, better riding experience etc. The engine delivers 477 hp @ 6k rpm and max torque of 637 Nm @ 2.9k rpm. The extra torque stabilizes the ride control at any speed. The high-lift camshaft with cam phasing facilitates maximum torque while optimizing high-end power. This engine being so powerful enables the car to reach 0 to 60 mph in high 4 second rage and quarter-mile in high 1.2 seconds.
The 2011 Doge Challenger SRT8 392 has two kind of transmission process, 1,Standard five-speed automatic transmission with auto stick and 2. Tremec TR-6060 six-speed manual transmission. There is a top speed difference, with manual transmission the top speed is 180mph which decreases with auto transmission to 173mph. This car also features a smart fuel saver technology in automatic transmission models, this car has 8 cylinders and this technology lets the engine to operate economically, using 4 cylinder and switches to all 8 cylinders when needed. The modified Clutch also provides smooth shift engagement.
This car on the outside part has two colors and a new full-body stripe combination, The colors are Deep water blue with standard white stripes and Clear white with Viper blue stripes which makes it easily noticeable on the streets as well as the tracks. Under its hood the valve covers are painted silver ribs and there is a 392 HEMI logo which provides the engine with a decent look. The center instrument panel, center stack and console bezels is painted silver metal with a high finishing providing it a high-quality look and feeling. The door trim panels are also painted silver metal along with white door bolsters with blue accents. The front splitter and fender spats are modified to be larger which improves the balance of the car and its high-speed aerodynamics. Also the newly modified Shock absorbers provides a firm and less bumpy ride be it on the streets or in the track.
With all this exciting features this car is expected to be a most preferred choice for both streets and racing track.
