Likeable features about the Dodge Charger are its decent handling, the throaty V-8 engine, its muscle like panache, and the well laid out controls. A few features you may not like are its poor fuel economy, the rather vague feeling while steering, the firm ride it offers and the absence of manual transmission across the range.
The 2010 Dodge Charger is into its 4th year of making and is in its latest ‘avatar’. Lack of sales is not really worrying dodge, as it does have a rather unique style and looks as fresh as it did in its initial years. The 2010 Dodge Charger has maintained its sleek profile and blends style and accents of the modern day sedan with the traditional appearance of the muscle car.
The Dodge Charger is on offer with a whole line of engines and different trim levels, this makes its appeal felt amongst a wider audience. This 4 door sedan has for a base engine, a 2.7 l, 178 hp V-6, and this is responsible for moving the SE model. The 3.5 l, 250 hp V-6 is available to the Se as an option and comes as a standard for the SXT. The Dodge Charger R/T has a 5.7 l, HEMI V-8 and this pumps 368 hp out and can rocket about, boosting the fuel economy. This vehicle is for those who want a lot of power. The final version of the Dodge Charger is the SRT8, and this has a really power packed 6.1 l HEMI V-8, which can produce 425 hp. This engine is designed by Chrysler’s SRT or Street and Racing Technology group and can go up to 60 mph in just 5 seconds. However, it can also be used for daily use. The fuel economy for this model was improved last year by Dodge.
Standard features adorn the 2010 Dodge Charger, and this is common to Chrysler vehicles. Options can change the price of the vehicle significantly, and this should be noted. Air conditioning, air filter in the interior, a steering wheel which is telescopic or can be tilted, the presence of cruise control, a player which has AM/FM/CD/MP3, and all other full power accessories are features which a 2010 Dodge Charger always has. The Dodge Charger SXT has a speaker system from Boston Acoustics, while the Dodge Charger R/T and SRT8 have access to front seats which are heated and also a powered passenger seat. You will note that all these are also standard features. Other options are available.
