The Subaru Tribeca Touring

The Subaru Tribeca has aged much too fast for its own good. The engine sounds like an old man throwing fits even if it is adequate enough for long excursions. The interior does not have enough room for passengers and luggage in the front and middle seats. It has yet to address the super cramped third row seats.
The Subaru Tribeca loses all hope with regard to steering and handling. It falls way short of the standards set by other Subaru models. It leave you with poor performance, all that is left to like about the Tribeca are the usual features of an all wheel drive system.
Despoite its features there are just way too many options to choose from besides the Tribeca. Other vehicles in the same market have better performance, more comfortable ride, better features and a better look.
The Tribeca has a 3.6L DOHC H-6 engine with a horsepower of 256 hp at 6000 rpm and a torque of 247 lb-ft at 4400 rpm. It has an all wheel drive with a 5 speed automatic transmission. Although those numbers look good it fails to cover the real experience you will have with the Tribeca. It handles poorly on long drives and short trips. Poor performance while maneuvering will leave you in want.
The Tribeca is also an eye sore in a lot of counts. The tall sides stick out like sore thumbs and there is not much knee room in between seats that can interfere with driving. The cabin is crunched and lacks room to make you comfortable. The interior design is stylish but lacks substance and practicality.
One plus of the Subaru over its competitors such as the Outback and Legacy is its navigation system. The navigation system of the Tribeca makes all its functions clear and easy to access. It uses buttons instead of a touch screen that makes things less confusing.
Despite branding itself as a beautiful car the Tribeca has gotten old. It has removed some parts to make it more appealing but it was a case of a little bit too late.
For a price tag pegged at $36, 490 the Tribeca is one expensive vehicle. There are other options out there to choose from that have better everything compared to the Tribeca. The Tribeca does have its moments but they are too far in between. You are better off spending thirty grand on another vehicle.
