The Subaru Tribeca Review

The Subaru Tribeca has reinvented itself since its artsy debut in New York back in 2006. Now with its re-release and redesign the Tribeca is still a 7 passenger vehicle and a tad bit smaller than the typical midsize car in its market segment.
Minor improvements such as bad visibility of its predecessor were improved by adjusting the rear end. The interior of the Tribeca has a distinct design that will surprise you the first time you go in. It has an elegant and full figured dashboard coupled with a sleek and easy to use central display.
The Tribeca’s third row and seats are too small which give s cramped in feeling. The only people who can fit in those seats are children and small adults. And also the lack of an adjustable steering wheel column will give taller drivers a very hard time. The vehicle’s design can swing you both ways because of its avant-garde approach. Others will like it others won’t but it surely does not lack in style.
The exterior is as stylish as the interior. The Tribeca removed the three element grille of its predecessors that made it an even better looking ride. The Tribeca has a nice outline that flows smoothly on the body’s exterior. The overall look of the Tribeca makes it an attractive yet sporty SUV.
The Subaru Tribeca offers a 3.6L H-6 engine with a five speed automatic transmission that has a 256 horse power and a 247 pound-feet of torque. The car also has an all wheel drive system that redirects fifty five percent of the engine’s power to the rear wheels under normal circumstances. The downside to the Subaru Tribeca is that it only offers on kind of transmission.
The Tribeca falls short of other Subaru models because of its not so good handling. Subaru has left itself with a lesser version of its predecessors because of its watered down style of the interior and exterior and subpar handling capabilities.
The Tribeca has good safety features such as airbags, traction control, an ABS brake system and other features.
The Subaru Tribeca is not a vehicle for everyone with its artsy design inside and out. It delivers good power on normal driving conditions. It does not handle well around curves and corners but it does a decent enough job with maneuvering. At the end of the day it is still your choice if you want to own a Subaru Tribeca.
