The Lamborghini Spyder

You watch a resplendent sunset on the mountains you take pictures that lock up a thousand words in a single frame. You look for the right words to describe nature at its finest. You can think of nothing because the best things are hidden in the notes of silence. You ask yourself how can such beauty and charm exist? You count the ways you can measure it, a telescope, the amount of red in the clouds, the temperature, and all sorts of science but you discover it is of no use.
Then you hear a low rumble in the distance, the touch of tires careening on pavement. You feel your heart pounding, the creak and rumble of the road draws closer. It zooms by like lightning. You see it, you experience.
The Lamborghini.
Such brute force.
Yet subtle intensity and silky smooth hands that glides by like the wind.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder is the definition of style and substance. The Lamborghini draws attention wherever it goes no matter what color it is painted in. Its style and elegance is godlike, its very essence a single example of engineering and design perfection. The cabins have a personality of their own with every corner outlined with leather.
Just raising the rear lid of the Spyder involves both electric and hydraulic motors. The 5.2-liter V-10 engine lies in all its glory. Who can blame it? It has a horse power that measures at 560-hp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 398 ft-lbs.
You think this engineering beast is a wild animal once you rev it up but despite its brutish appeal it is easy to maneuver wherever you are driving. Take it out on the highway and experience its full capacity.
The Spyder can race from 0-to-62-mph in 3.6 seconds and has a legendary maximum speed of 201 mph. The Gallardo Spyder’s speed is due to its lighter weight, 44 pounds to be exact, than its predecessor. The additional mechanical upgrades and roof-opening calibration makes it a 3417-pound behemoth. But despite its heavy weight it has smooth handling and driving.
The E-gear single-clutch automated manual transmission drives this beautiful monster and has been upgraded substantially over the past seven years since the Gallardo’s debut.
The E-gear has a launch-control mode that contains the Corsa mode. The Corsa mode releases your inner speed demon. You can turn off the stability control and let go of the brake pedal with your left foot, and then rev up the gas. The engine turns up to 5200 rpm and the Spyder surges and burns all four Pirelli tires. The all-wheel-drive system lets you control this beast with its power steering and handling.
The Gallardo Spyder is a complete machine.
