The Jeep Liberty Renegade

The new Jeep Liberty Renegade was supposed to get a revamp for its release. But there aren’t any significant changes to the design and structure of the vehicle. There were a few tweaks here and there, the larger cabin, more space for your feet, but all in all the improvements made were insignificant in the greater scheme of things.
The Renegade desperately needs a 3.7-liter Pentastar V-6 that increases its horsepower at a rate of 80 more hp than its previous engine. It needs additional transmission compared to its four forward gears. There are several other changes that need to be made but I won’t care to mention them. The total changes are nothing short of a total revamp.
The standard equipment for the Renegade includes a 3.7-liter V-6 engine, a 4-speed automatic transmission, Selec-Trac II Active full-time 4WD system, electronic stability program, hill start assist, hill decent control, 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, cruise control, tire pressure monitoring system, air conditioning, 60/40 rear seat split, audio jack input, Sirius satellite radio, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
The ride is not as comfortable as you would like to imagine. You will feel the humps and bumps on the road. The handling is nothing spectacular it gives you enough but you can’t push it further than you should.
The interior and exterior designs are not all that. It could use some more work and better materials. Although in its defense it offers a good sound system and the cabin is comfortable enough for long trips.
The driving experience is solid but if you know any better you’d feel the difference. Compared to the other models in its segment the Liberty does a fine job of staying just in between good and great. The curving and the braking are just all right at best. Don’t expect much from this baby or you’ll just end up disappointed.
For its base price of $28,605 it offers just enough for the purchase but you could do better with other vehicles.
For extra dollars you can add upgrades to your Renegade such as a Navigation System for $2095, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, 8 Infinity sound system, Uconnect phone with voice command, GPS navigation, 30GB hard drive, 6.5-inch touch screen, and map lights.
Overall the Renegade has plenty to offer if you are willing to spend over $28,000. There are a lot of choices for you to choose from if you know what type of car you want.
