The 2011 Infiniti QX56 is yet another example of Infiniti’s desire to create an inspired and well performing product. An SUV, the QX56 has quite a lot to offer.
The exterior frame is almost boxy, like several other modern SUV models, but subtly hides it by virtue of its smooth crests and angles, a prominent front grille bearing the Infiniti logo, and metallic window trim that doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb.
On the inside, the luxury is ornately incorporated by means of leather and wooden trims, a simple and easy to use main panel, and very a roomy interior, offering a great view to the driver and comfort as well. It almost goes without saying that the rear seating is also very spacious, with leg room and comfort all around.
An entertainment package, which costs a bit above the base cost of the car, will seem absolutely necessary to further add luxury to this already luxurious vehicle. It comes with two 7-inch monitors along with several wireless headphones, and a 120v outlet. For a bit more, this tech system becomes beyond premium; in addition to the entertainment, several amazing technological features are added. This package upgrade adds a computer monitored cruise control system, lane departure warning on long highways, blind spot warning systems and brake assistance for emergency breaking, seatbelts upgraded for safety and an automatic lighting system that detects current outside light levels and adjusts the QX56’s interior and exterior lighting accordingly. A further and final upgrade (which, if budget is an option, should be the only one possibly overlooked) adds specially designed spokes and wheels, washers for the headlights, and numerous heating and cooling options, that include heated front row and back row seats as well as a climate control system itself.
The engine is also a very powerful element in this car; it provides up to 400 horsepower and 413 lb.-ft. of torque. Its gas mileage is an average of its class, coming out to 16 mpg for streets and 20 for highway. Adding a hybrid variation of this model would be a clutch selling tactic.
The 2011 Infiniti QX56 is a car loaded with special feature options, but at its core is a strong and luxurious ornate SUV.
