The 2011 Honda Odyssey

Minivans have two predominant truths about them: their made for families with a couple kids, and are very basic, and sometimes ugly in design. The 2011 Honda Odyssey came as a surprise to many. First, Chrysler, who first pioneered the minivan, has always been the best at it; why try and beat someone at their own game? Second, GMC and Dodge came out with minivan models of their own not too recently; why pick a fight that’s three against one? The Odyssey not only baffled many by a design that made it unique and appealing compared to other minivans, but Honda was confident in the car they designed to fight the standard, and they seem to be winning.
As mentioned before, the 2011 Odyssey looks different from other competing brands. This sleek, arrow-like design is a winning one, since it distinguishes it from the dull nature minivans normally have, but on top of that, it looks good. Its interior design is also very good; with a considerable media layout, that includes a high quality sound system with USB port, and two second row screens for the built in DVD system. In addition to all of that, various ergonomic designs, such as nine cup holders and various storage containers for electronic devices and trash, make this minivan not only classy, but able to handle the demands of a family on the go.
The Odyssey also several safety innovations as well, putting it ahead of other models. One brilliant addition is a radar system that tells the driver via a screen on the dashboard whether there is another car in either of the blind spots, reducing completely the dangers of merging into another lane in any scenario.
As far the engine goes, the Odyssey sports an average V6 engine that gives up to 248 horsepower.
The 2011 Honda Odyssey is a great choice for anybody with a family or a family on the way; with a sleek exterior, a comfortable and practical interior, an excellent media system, and innovative safety technology, the Odyssey will make you look forget about the competition.
