Review of Hyundai Tucson Limited FWD

By Zaheer on Apr 28, 2011 with Comments 0

Hyundai has done it again with the Hyundai Tucson Limited FWD! The car company has been consistently good throughout the years. Although there were some misses with their releases but overall the company has done well. The outstanding aspect of the Tucson is its exquisite design. The design can go head-to-head with the best of the best in the market.

The Tucson’s interior competes with the Chevy Equinox’s design in their market segment. The Tucson has excellent ergonomics, high quality materials for its cabin. The cabin gives you a comfortable feel and a breezy atmosphere. The leather used feels elegant and luxurious. The exterior is no push over either it has an excellent tone of brown paint and the body is an amazing specimen.

With the Tucson, Hyundai has finally entered a one of a kind car in one of the toughest markets to crack. The great drive, outstanding interior, and affordable pricing will have Toyota running for its money.

The Tucson’s handling was excellent but the steering leaves much to be desired. The Tucson gave a heavy and stiff feel as you turn the wheel that made the drive distracting.

The Tucson delivers a lot for its $28,000 price. If that price is too steep for you, you can opt for a basic Tucson for $19,790 and add $2,700 for the equipment package which contains aluminum wheels, Bluetooth, cruise control, better seats, and a few minor upgrades.

The Tucson stands head and shoulders above the rest with its exquisite interior design. You won’t mind spending the extra dollars because of the refined set-up and high quality materials used for the car.

The driving is also excellent. Although it is not up to par with an enthusiast’s zeal, the Tucson is user-friendly for most drivers. The braking, handling, and steering function as expected from a crossover.  It is not anything spectacular but is perfect for your family vacation and casual driving.

The Hyundai Tucson’s specs reveals that it can compete in the crossover market. The Tucson offers fuel economy, good equipment, and a solid price base. One look at the Tucson and you can tell that it can go toe-to-toe with the segment leaders such as the Chevrolet Equinox, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4 because of the Tucson’s interior and exterior design.

The Hyundai Tucson gives you plenty of reasons to make a purchase. The interior is amazingly done and the controls are user-friendly. The steering is ok unless you are looking for spectacular curving or cornering. The Tucson’s engine power is what you would expect in the segment’s other cars. Its engine displaces 2.4 liters and has 170 hp and port injection.
