The Mazda 6 is the perfect car for your family. It delivers the right amount of power for long family trips and you can throttle the gas for an occasional drive in the highway. It is the perfect car with just the right amount of everything. It provides comfortable cabins and the ride experience is worthwhile. It delivers smooth and steady handling and driving.
The V-6 engine by the Mazda 6 is powerful and silky smooth. It has a clever six-speed automatic gear that is user-friendly. The Mazda 6 is also one of the most handsome cars in its market segment with its sleek and well defined fenders. The Mazda 6 has a good handle. It maneuvers smoothly and refined around corners or curves.
The bigger Mazda 6 provides more interior space combined with an improved fit. The interior is beautiful with well thought of ergonomics and a linear layout that is not confusing.
The Mazda 6 is enjoyable to drive compared to other V-6-powered, FWD cars out in the market. What separates the Mazda 6 from the rest is in its attention to details. It has better steering because of its faster and natural feel.
Details are important they are what separate the good from the great.
The Mazda 6 is now similar to all the other cars in its segment because of the improvements it has made. It can separate itself with its unique style and appeal to the younger audience.
The Mazda 6 is a fine specimen in its segment but the drawback to is that it lacks the extra push that could take it over the edge. There is nothing spectacular about its design and engineering. It is mid tier in all the other categories including interior and exterior design. It meshes well with all the other models in the segment. Nothing flashy, nothing grand just floating somewhere in between.
The 3.7 liter engine displacement should have given the Mazda 6 a faster first step but it is baffling that it cannot produce power up to expectations. Its not like it doesn’t have any power but it just fell short of expectations.
The steering and handling are like everything else in the Mazda 6, which is adequate not spectacular. The materials used for the interior are average at best.
The new Mazda 6 lost the sporty appeal of its predecessor but it made its look more elegant and equipped itself with a more spacious interior. Coupled with smooth and refined power the Mazda 6 is a mid-sized sedan enthusiast’s dream.
Despite all of its shortcomings the Mazda 6 is worth the price that you pay for it.
