Experience the Nissan Versa 1.8 SL Hatchback

By Zaheer on Apr 28, 2011 with Comments 0

The Nissan Versa 1.8 SL Hatchback has a stark similarity with the Four Seasons Honda Fit Sport, especially the colors used and the body type. The Versa and the Honda Fit Sport are similarly priced at $19,000. The price tag has a navigation system but the Versa has more to offer compared with the Sport Fit. Nissan has a keyless entry/ignition, Bluetooth phone connectivity, satellite radio and a sunroof.

The Versa also offer good wind insulation to prevent high noise levels, a soft and smooth suspension, and the CVT combined the 1.8-liter I-4 well to give a drive ratio that is seamless and quiet as a whisper while cruising down the highway.

The Versa also offers a top class cabin the Nissan uses top class materials that it weaves throughout the car. The seats have a neat weave design that is easy on the eyes. Well grained plastics are used on the door panels and armrests which makes the cabin comfortable and elegant.

At this point the $19,000 sounds like a bargain for the Nissan Versa but wait there is more about the car that you should find out. The Versa is a solid car choice in its chosen market segment. It can rival any of the top cars in its stable and it has features that allure you in more ways than one.

The Versa gives a comfortable drive for both passengers and driver. Its engine is powerful enough to help the car through any kind of road condition. The back seats have enough room and the hatchback set up coupled with the 60/40 foldable rear seats give ample room for bigger luggage.

You can have the full amenities of the Versa for just under $20,000. You ask yourself that is a bit too much for a sub-compact vehicle but a glance at the amenities will make you think it is worth every cent: The equipment list has power windows and locks, sixteen-inch aluminum tires, cruise control settings, satellite radio, navigation, sunroof, traction control, and a Bluetooth system just to name a few. After hearing that long list of features you must be thinking about heading to your car dealer any minute now.

Wait there’s more! You could get a savings of $5000 by choosing the six-speed manual transmission of the hatchback. By choosing the manual transmission you have to give up the features listed above but it is well worth it because you will have a good engine and conserve fuel on your trips.
