As a driver you want to feel the car and its every corner. You want to experience the high caliber engine and the top performance of every inch of the machine. Manual transmission vehicles have a way of granting your every desire as a driver.
Props to Ford for offering a stick shift manual transmission Fusion that the company released recently that came with the right equipment and a fuel-economy engine that gives you great mileage for a six-speed automatic transmission. The Ford Fusion SE that came on display had eighteen-inch wheels, high quality tires, and a sunroof for just $23,065. The Fusion on display also came with a sporty-looking body that fits the rugged and sporty.
The third pedal that was added to Fusion did not turn the vehicle into a sport sedan. Despite its enhancements the Fusion is still clumsy over humps and lacks movement like the rest of the front-wheel-drive cars out on the market. Raking is not as smooth as one would like it. The family person can also enjoy the Ford Fusion because the manual transmission Fusion provides both style and function with added practicality.
The Fusion offers a 2.5-liter I-4 engine that has plenty of torque, and enough muscle to tear through the highway. The new Fusion has a monochromatic appeal with a painted grille and enormous wheels while removing the tasteless interior design that the previous model had.
Ford has made marked improvement for the new Fusion as seen by its overhauled interior and exterior design. The Fusion also has a silky smooth six-speed manual transmission. For a mass market sport vehicle it makes most of the 175-hp four-cylinder engine!
The Fusion SE has an amazing look because of the Monochrome Appearance Package, the $895 it costs is well worth every cent. The Monochrome Package gives the wheels an upgrade from the 7-inch silver paint to ten-spoke alloys with V-rated wheels. The package adds more value because not only will you get tire upgrades but also a sport-tuned suspension, a rear spoiler, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. For $23,000 sedan it is well worth the purchase.
The Fusion is also a competent manual transmission drive sedan. The shifter is taller than the average shifter but the cornering and braking are decent. The clutch is good and helps you maneuver the car and combined with the gas pedal of the Fusion it is a fun drive.
The Fusion is a great family car and is also fun to occasionally take out on your own.
