A “different” Ferrari to debut in Geneva

The CEO of Ferrari, Luca Cordero Di Montezemolo, in his recent statement announced that the company has its eyes on the up coming 2011 Geneva Motor Show and we are bringing something different and well adapted in response to the shifting needs of the customers. The statement of the CEO definitely compels us to think about the next milestone of the Ferrari. It would either be a hybrid powertrain or one of the road applications from the Formula 1 KERS system.
If we make a comparison of the this statement and all the latest spy shots and rumors, we can just suppose that the Cordero was pointing towards the successor for the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti whispered to be powered with a V12 550 HP and an electric motor of 100 HP. This particular engine is based off the pattern of the 599 Hy-Kers system which improves the engine’s fuel consumption by 35%. The new model might be a four wheeler. Di Montezemolo refused the fact that all these technologies will not be available before 2014. This is the latest statement made by him and makes us think whether it was a trick made to divert our focus or made with true intentions. January is not far and we all will come to know about this mysterious model.
