2013 Mazda MX-5

Since 1989, the Mazda MX0-5 is considered as the best sold convertibles in the automotive market. The MX-5 has seen three different generations, numerous design updates and certain engine modification during the course of 21 years of history. The company has announced the fourth generation 2013 Mazda MX-5 with an aggressive and impressive updates.
The design of the future Mazda will be an inspiration from the Shinari Concept seen earlier this year. The aim of the company is to reduce the weight of the future vehicle to less than 1,000 kilos.
At the launching ceremony of the Shinari Concept, the general manager of Mazda Motor Corp.’s design division, Ikuo Maeda stated that this will design will lead us to the next generation of Mazda design. The 20113 MX-5 will be the first vehicle to adopt Mazda’s new ‘Kodo – Soul of Motion’ design language.
The exterior of the future MX-5 will feature a large five point grille and fluid lines as we have seen in the Shinari Concept, LED lights technology will be used in headlamps.
The interior will feature a new sports eats and certain other aluminum insertions and not to forget the latest technology will be seen in future MX-5.
The new MX-5 will be powered by a new four-cylinder, direct injection engine with a start-stop system matted with a six speed manual transmission. These features will help to improve the fuel consumption of the upcoming MX-5 version.
The future Mazda MX-5 will be launched in 2012 and will go on sale by early 2013.
