We have already received the official details for the 2012 C-Class model, we can assume that the spied details and images of the new AMG have come up on the web. The new AMG version has got an updated exterior and interior like that of standard C-Class, but the there will be no changes made under the hood.
The exterior of the new AMG will feature redesigned bumpers, revised mirrors, slimmer headlights with LED lights and a new grille with one horizontal bar rather than two, same like SLS AMG. The other features of new MAG will include a new set of sportier wheels, chrome elements, an AMG logo to distinguish from the standard C-Class, and a sporty exhaust system with four end pipes.
The new AMG will be powered by a same 6.3L V8 engine with an output of 457 HP mated to a new MCT seven-speed automatic transmission. We can expect to see both the standard and AMG versions at 2011 Detroit Auto Show. They will go on sale by summer of 2011.
