2010 Volkswagen Golf R

The German automaker company Volkswagen has recently disclosed the official details about their new vehicle, Golf R, described by the company as ‘the strongest Gold ever produced’. The new Golf R will take the place of Golf R32 and placed above the Golf GTI in the Volkswagen’s lineup.
The exterior of the new Golf R features some significant changes such as a Talladega wheels and upgraded braking system, a more aggressive front bumper, large air intakes, a new designed R logo, standard LED strips, Bi-Xenon headlights, side skirts extensions and a high gloss black painted mirror housings.
The interior of the new vehicle will feature a fine leather contrasting with piano black and chrome surfaces, specific floor mats, enhanced ‘Top Sport Seat System’, aluminum kick plates with new R logo in addition to the set of stainless steel sport pedals, R gearshift knob, and an R specific instrument cluster.
The new Golf R will be powered by 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine which will deliver 270 HP at 6,000 rpm. The Golf R will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds. It is a bit faster than the previous R32 in 6.2 seconds. The new Volkswagen Golf R will produce a top speed of 155 mph.
