2010 Bertone Pandion

The Italian automaker Bertone revealed their Pandion concept car at the Geneva Motor Show. The concept car is made to pay tribute to the Alfa Romeo’s centenary. The name of this new concept car is taken from the animal world for Pandion Haliaetus is a scientific name for Osprey – a sea hawk, lives and nests in coastal areas.
The design of the Pandion is based off on the ‘Skin & Frame’ design language. Skin indicates the snake in the logo, which represent the world’s famous Italian excellence in stunning and enticing forms. Frame indicates the cross in the logo, which represent the mechanical excellence in high performance Italian race cars.
The other features of the Pandion includes a sculpted bonnet with typical Alfa quad headlights, doors that open by rotating backwards, a typical five horizontal bars radiator grille. The new Pandion is equipped with a 4.7L eight-cylinder Alfa Romeo engine that can deliver an impressive 450 HP.
