Chevrolet to Supply Engines for Indy In 2012

It has been officially announced that the Chevrolet is going to be racing in 2012. The company will provide the V6 engine to the Team Penske for the Indy Car Series in two years. Certainly, Chevrolet is not aiming to go around in circles kind of racing.
Most of the big names in Indy Racing should have aware of the fact that Chevrolet once used to supply motors from1986 to 1993 and later again in 2002 to 2005.
The motor on which Chevrolet is working is one of that twin-turbocharged, direct injection 2.4-liter V6 which will rely on E85 fuel. Aluminum will be used in the making of block and cylinder heads, but yet it is not revealed that how much power will be produced.
The first team that agrees to use the Chevrolet motors is Penske Racing. Though, any team can use the motors from same company if they opt for, Chevrolet is expecting to have more teams on board.
