The most powerful Ford Mustang at the moment is Mustang GT powered by 5.0 liter V8 engine which generate 412HP and 390lb-ft of torque. But over recent spy shots reveal something else. It seems that the company is looking to prepare something even better, that is, turbocharged Mustang GT.
The spy shots reveal to us a car with a higher redline, a new bumper cover, and a requirement for premium fuel. However, it is not yet clear whether the new model will be a turbo V6 or turbo V8. Ford is already come up with Ecoboost V6 engine in the F-150 and is capable of generating 365HP and 420lb-ft of torque. But it may not be commendable if this is the engine which Ford is planning to drop in the new Mustang GT or they will go for a 5.0 liter V8 engine version for their turbocharged Mustang GT. We will have to wait and see what Ford bring in the upcoming Auto Show.
