How to Wash Gasoline Smell off Your Hands

Getting gasoline smell on your hands is common when you do a maintenance work on your vehicle the whole day. It is easy to get rid off that smell, but for that you have to aware of certain methods.
First Method: Lemon
Cut the lemon into two pieces. Use each piece to rub the lemon juice properly on your hands and under the fingernails. Work it well in between your fingers and rinse it with clean water.
You can also use Eucalyptus oil for removing gasoline smell.
Second Method: Baking Soda
Take water and baking soda. Make a paste and scrub it all over your hands. For better results you can use a small amount of vinegar, lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide or detergent in the paste. Wash your hands afterward and repeat the process if required to get rid off smell.
Third Method: Detergent
You can use detergent that is made for cleaning grease. Take a generous amount of undiluted detergent and rub it on your hands. You can use toothbrush to scrub it well onto your skin or you can use dry tea towel for scrubbing. Rinse your hands later.
Borax (degrease detergent) can also be used in the form of paste on your hands. Rub it thoroughly and wash your hands.
Fourth Method: Soap and Water
You can remove the smell of gasoline from your hands using gritty soap. Apply it on your hands rub it well and wash with cold water.
Mechanic’s soap is also there that are specially formulated to deal with the smell of gasoline on your hands. Wet your hands and apply soap. Scrub it well and clean your hands with paper towel. Then use an ordinary normal soap and wash your hands.
Fifth Method: Rubbing Alcohol
Alcohol and hand sanitizers can also be a good way to remove the smell and gasoline residues from your hands easily. Use rubbing alcohol with cotton balls to blot off the gasoline smell.
