Instructions

  • Working outside in a snow is not a simple task. You need to provide your body enough protection before going into the cold surroundings. Wear warm clothes like sweater, mufflers, socks, snow shoes and also a pair of mittens to avoid frostbites. Avoid using scarves or other loose fitting cloths which can get caught in the snow-blower.
  • Snow-blowers are of two types. One operates with electric charge and the other operates with gas. If you have electric snow-blower, charged it well before using it. If you have snow-blower that runs on gas, inspect that it has enough gas to work. Don’t smoke while operating a gas powered snow-blower.
  • While using snow-blower, make certain that there is nothing in front of it; otherwise auger will chopped it down.
  • Always start from the middle of the driveway, and use to the center up to the end of the driveway. While working in the center the output can be on either side.
  • As you move back on the driveway, operate your blower so that it overlaps the few inches of the original stripe. This will ensure you that no snow will be pushed back on the stripe again.
  • Blow the snow onto the left, if you have chosen to blow on the left of the stripe. For working on the right of the stripe, choose right side to blow the snow.
  • On reaching the top of the drive, start removing snow from the edge of the driveway. Keep removing the snow in same way until all the snow removed.
  • Now work on the other half of the driveway and repeat the same procedure. Keep removing the snow until the entire driveway is free from snow and you have the huge drift of snow piled on the sides.

Snow-blower makes your task easy and it also saves your precious time. It is quick, easy and time saving unlike shoveling. These instructions will guide your to use snow blower effectively.
