Audi released a slight update for the high performance variants of the TT for 2011. The TTS, which is available with this Orange theme inside and out, gets a new grille and chrome air vents, along with upgraded performance, brakes and suspension, plus 18-inch wheels.
Available in both Coupe and Roadster formats, the car’s 2.0 liter TFSI engine gets bigger turbochargers and some other tweaks to generate 200 kW (272 hp) and 350 Nm (258.15 lb-ft) of torque, it is enough for accelerating to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds and limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The TT-RS as the ultimate TT is available with a 2.5 liter turbocharged, inline 5-cylinder engine with 250 kW (340 hp) and 450 Nm (331.90 lb-ft) of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds but the top speed is raised up to 280 km/h.
Starting this fall, Audi will also offer the option of the TT RS with a newly developed version of the S tronic that can control the tremendous torque of the powerful five-cylinder engine. Audi TT-RS equipped with S tronic transmission accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
