Hamann is a well-known German tuning company. They have recently focused on tuning the latest BMW Z4 sDrive35is. This model received a range of custom modifications from Hamann including an improved exhaust, a glossy new aerodynamics package and a custom tuning of the car’s ECU.
Along with the expanded four-pipe exhaust system and the tuning changes, the BMW’s twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter inline six generates 104 ft lb of torque and 54 HP. This makes the Hamann’s tuned BMW Z4 reaching an enhanced 360 HP and 398 ft lb of torque increasing to a high speed of 177mph.
The aerodynamics includes a front lip spoiler along with the latest LED running lights and side skirts along with custom air scoops. Hamann also modified the rear face to hold the latest exhaust system and added a latest deck lid spoiler. The body kit of 1.2 inch lowering from the suspension system makes the Z4’s posture lower and visually extends the body. The 20-inch matte black set of aluminum wheels are an optional choice for the customer.
The BMW Z4’s interior has been mostly left untouched. The floor mats and custom aluminum shift knob sporting the Hamann logo is the standard and the leather interior is an option for the customer. Hamann has not yet announced the price. However their custom BMW Z4 is not expected to be cheap. Only the set of black matte wheels have a price of €7640 or over $10,000. So the price of this custom tuned Z4 can be well imagined and it will raise many eyebrows.
